Precautions for oil storage of diesel generator set:

1. Storage position: the barreled engine oil or canned engine oil of the diesel generator set shall be stored in the warehouse to avoid being affected by the external environment.

2. The oil that has been opened for use can also be packaged in whole bags and stored inside the warehouse.

3. The barrel of engine oil should be placed horizontally, and both ends of the barrel should be wedged tightly to prevent rolling.

4. Environmental requirements: The local ambient temperature for oil storage should not be too low or too high to prevent adverse effects on the oil.

5. The name of the lubricating oil contained in the container should be clearly indicated, along with the product name and grade.

6. When placing, it is important to separate new oil and waste oil. Waste oil or dirt can be stored in designated containers until the disposal stops to prevent contamination of the new oil.
