First of all, if the diesel generator set is working outdoors, in winter, pay special attention to the change of temperature. When the ambient temperature is lower than 0 ℃, the cooling water in the radiator tank of the diesel engine should be discharged. As the temperature is lower than 0 ℃, the water will form ice. At this time, the volume of water changes greatly. When the water changes from liquid to solid, the volume expansion will damage the radiator of the cooling water tank, which will severely freeze the cylinder block.
Secondly, in winter, due to the poor working environment of diesel engines, it is necessary to frequently replace the air filter elements. Due to the high requirements of cold weather on the air filter elements and diesel engine filter elements, it is assumed that not replacing them in a timely manner will increase engine wear and affect the lifespan of the diesel engine.
Third, when selecting engine oil for diesel generator set in winter, engine oil with thinner viscosity should be selected as far as possible.
Fourthly, when a diesel engine starts in winter, the air temperature inside the cylinder is very low, making it difficult for the piston to reach the natural temperature of diesel after tightening the gas. Therefore, before starting the diesel engine, corresponding auxiliary methods should be selected to measure the temperature of the diesel engine body.
Fifth, after the diesel generator set is started, it should work for 3-5 minutes without load, raise the temperature of the diesel generator set, check the working status of the lubricating oil, and put it into normal operation after everything is normal. During the operation of the diesel generator set, remember to shut down suddenly. You should first unload the load and then shut down the machine after it has operated for a period of time, otherwise the service life of the diesel generator set will be greatly reduced.
